Schneider Wallace Cottrell Kim LLP, a national plaintiffs’ law firm founded in 1993, is pleased to announce that David D. Burnett has been promoted to Partner.  David leads the firm’s D.C. office and joins a growing partner tier at the firm.

David brings 19 years of experience representing plaintiffs in complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, securities fraud claims, antitrust opt-outs, consumer class actions, product liability mass torts, and environmental claims.  He is a member of Schneider Wallace’s Business Litigation and Competition group, where he leads high-stakes cases for clients in litigation involving trade secrets, stock market manipulation, pharmaceutical antitrust claims, and a Los Angeles wildfire.  David has been involved in some of the most significant plaintiff-side litigation of recent decades, including representing insurance companies in litigation against Wall Street banks arising from the 2008 financial crisis and representing state and local governments in litigation arising from the nationwide opioid epidemic.  A skilled brief-writer, David has won a number of important motions for our clients in his time at the firm.
