Lifepoint Health – Unpaid Work During Lunch – Unpaid Wages

Have you worked for Lifepoint Health, Inc. (“Lifepoint”) and/or any of its affiliated facilities, such as Highpoint Health or Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, in the last four (4) years as a patient care employee, such as a RN, LPN, or CNA? Schneider Wallace Cottrell Kim LLP filed a lawsuit against Lifepoint, alleging that Lifepoint violated federal law by failing to pay their patient care employees for all time worked, including all overtime wages, for work performed during unpaid meal periods. Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that Lifepoint improperly failed to compensate its patient care staff for time they spent working, engaging in work related tasks, or otherwise being responsible for patient care during uncompensated meal breaks.
