Srujana Shivji attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mathematics. Ms. Shivji earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

While in law school, Ms. Shivji passionately fought for equal access to high-quality legal assistance. She interned at the Bexar County Appellate Public Defender’s Office to uphold and defend an individual’s right to a fair trial in aggravated assault cases. Ms. Shivji was also instrumental in implementing the Restorative Justice Initiative at the Ney Prison Unit in Hondo to encourage profound and meaningful rehabilitation for both offenders and victims.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Shivji gained significant experience in insurance litigation while serving as defense counsel for multiple insurance carriers at a boutique law firm.
