Taylor A. Jones

Associate Attorney

Taylor Jones is an associate attorney at Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP’s Houston office. Her practice focuses on labor and employment class and collective actions, with an emphasis on state and federal wage and hour disputes.

Taylor graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center with a special distinction for her pro bono services. Taylor worked throughout her law school career, including as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gregory E. Jackson of the District of Columbia Superior Court, a law clerk in the Violent Crimes & Narcotics Trafficking Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, a law clerk for the Prosecutors’ Center for Excellence, a law clerk in the Adult Trial Division of the Public Defender Service, and a summer associate in Denton’s Paris office. Taylor also served as a law student teacher at Thurgood Marshall Academy with Georgetown’s High School Street Law Clinic.

After graduating from law school, Taylor was a Special Assistant State’s Attorney in the Special Victims’ Division of Montgomery County, Maryland’s State’s Attorney’s Office. Taylor then clerked for the Honorable Harry C. Storm in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. After returning to Texas, Taylor was an associate attorney at Josephson Dunlap LLP, where she represented thousands of employees in nationwide class and collective actions for wage and hour violations.

Before pursuing her legal career, Taylor graduated in the top 10% of the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Italian. While attending the University of Texas at Austin, Taylor was a member of the Plan I Liberal Arts Honors Program, a Presidential Scholar, and a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellow.

Taylor is admitted to practice in the state of Maryland, the state of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas, the District of Maryland, the District of Colorado, the Northern District of Oklahoma, the District of New Mexico, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Western District of Pennsylvania.

In addition to English, Taylor also speaks Italian and French.
