Simone B. Capers, licensed to practice law in the State of California, received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas.  Some of her legal experiences include a summer internship in the California Attorney General’s Office and work in the areas of school district representation, insurance defense, Civil Rights Law, and plaintiff work, including serious bodily injury and medical malpractice. 

Prior to law school, Simone graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grambling State University, with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Administration.  She has been active on non-profit boards and Equity and Inclusion committees in Washington State prior to relocating back to Houston.

Simone is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the State of California as well as the Central District Court of California.
