Ms. Penick joined the firm in 2019 and was shortly thereafter admitted to the Texas Bar.

She graduated from Tulane University Law School in May 2019. While in law school Ms. Penick worked pro bono as an intern at The ELLA Project, which provides legal services for musicians and artists in New Orleans, and as a clerk for the Tulane Legal Assistance Program. She also has two articles published in the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, one of which was selected for reprint in the 2018 Intellectual Property Law Review by Thomson Reuters (West).

Prior to law school, Ms. Penick attended the University of Georgia where she graduated, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs.

Ms. Penick was an active member of Tulane’s Women in Law and now is a member of the State Bar of Texas’s Women and the Law as well as the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
