Ms. Patterson is a staff attorney in our Houston, Texas office. She brings over ten years’ experience in civil and fiduciary litigation, ERISA and electronic document review.

Ms. Patterson graduated from the University of Houston, Law Center, Magna Cum Laude. She was an articles editor on the Houston Law Review.

Prior to law school, Ms. Patterson received a Master of Social Work from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Houston, with a concentration in gerontology. She worked at the University of Texas – Houston, School of Nursing, Center on Aging as a Research Assistant on various funded grants from the National Institute on Health, the Long-term Care Ombudsmen Program as well as private grants. This work addressed issues impacting the elderly, including housing, long-term care and social supports systems.

Ms. Patterson also served on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association –Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter (former past President) and the J.C. Valley Board at the University of Texas-Houston, School of Nursing, Center on Aging.
