Gabriel Hemphill is an Associate Attorney at Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP, and his practice focuses on employment class action litigation.
Gabriel graduated from the Accelerated Juris Doctor (“AJD”) program at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he completed law school in two years. During law school, Gabriel was involved with Northwestern University’s Center on Negotiation and Mediation, where he acted as a Negotiations course Teaching Assistant. In 2015, Gabriel became a certified mediator through the Chicago Center for Conflict Resolution and worked as a mediator for the Cook County Illinois Circuit Court, as well a client mediation advocate for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
In addition to work in the ADR space, Gabriel also worked as a student attorney at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago, representing low-income individual plaintiffs in landlord-tenant housing disputes. During his free time, Gabriel was also involved with Northwestern University’s Restorative Justice Initiatives and worked within the Community Justice for Youth Institute’s restorative justice hub.
Gabriel received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Vanderbilt University and graduated with Honors. Prior to joining Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP, Gabriel worked as a Law Clerk at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles for the Honorable Judge Huey Cotton and the Honorable Judge Virginia Keeny.
