Brett Watson is an Associate Attorney in the Bay Area office of Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky, LLP. His practice focuses on civil rights and complex litigation, with an emphasis on representing employees in employment class actions. Brett also represents individuals bringing claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination.
Brett is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in California, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining the firm, Brett spent over five years practicing in the Baltimore/Washington, DC area where he litigated individual and class cases involving disability rights, employment discrimination, consumer protection, fraud, and whistleblower retaliation.
Brett graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During law school, Brett was a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He also completed full-time internships with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.
Brett is active in the diabetes community through advocacy and volunteer efforts.
