On November 7, 2005, Plaintills Jason Elkin, Lynsey Elkin, and Michelle Falvey filed a complaint (the "Lawsuit") in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles, Case No. BC342633, against Six Flags.
The Lawsuit was brought on behalf of current and former non-exempt employees of Six Flags who were employed at Six Flags parks in California. Plaintiffs alleged that Six Flags did not compensate employees for "off~the-clock" work performed prior to clocking in, after clocking out, and during legally required meal and rest breaks. Plaintiffs sought compensation and statutory penalties for these alleged, unlawful policies, as well as attorneys' fees and costs for bringing this suit.
