The Case
On February 21, 2008, The United State District Court for the District of New Jersey Approved a $15 Milllion Settlement of this case.
The complaint alleged that Sears' failed to pay its product repair service technicians for all hours worked under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit sought payment of the wages earned, as well as double damages and other relief, on behalf of the plaintiffs and potential collective members who joined in the lawsuit.
