Ms. Cottrell is a partner with Schneider Wallace Cottrell Brayton Konecky LLP and has been a member of the firm since 1995.  Her entire legal career has been devoted to advocating for the rights of individuals who have been subjected to underpayment of wages, discrimination, harassment and retaliation.  Ms. Cottrell has litigated hundreds of wage and hour, employment discrimination and civil rights actions.  In 2010, Ms. Cottrell was honored as a "Top Woman Litigator" by the Daily Journal.

Ms. Cottrell is a member of the State Bar of California, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Public Justice, and the California Employment Lawyers Association.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1989 from the University of California and is a 1993 graduate of the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
