Mr. Finley, a partner at Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky Wotkyns LLP, focuses his practice on complex civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on matters involving claims against corporate directors and officers, as well as claims of professional negligence and malfeasance by accountants and attorneys.  His clients have included bankruptcy trustees and receivers, institutional investors, corporations, individuals and various state agencies and municipalities.

Mr. Finley has substantial jury trial experience, having acted as lead counsel in more than thirty-five (35) jury  trials in Arizona.  Those trials focused on claims involving personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, and fraud and misrepresentation.  He holds a "top ten" verdict for 2010 in the state of Arizona, having obtained a judgment for over $8,000,000 against an insurance carrier that was selling sham policies.  On behalf of another client, Mr. Finley obtained a settlement of $2,500,000 in a dispute over representations made by the City of Phoenix concerning applicable zoning.  In a case involving the death of the client's father as a result of a drunk driver, Mr. Finley and his firm obtained over $6,000,000 against the insurance company as a result of the insurance company's refusal to make a settlement offer.

Mr. Finley graduated from Stanford University in 1981 with a bachelor of arts degree in history, and returned home to Arizona to attend law school at the Arizona State University College of Law.  While at Arizona State, Mr. Finley was the chairman of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Order of Barristers.  Mr. Finley is admitted to practice before the Arizona Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for Arizona, Georgia and Colorado, the Tribal Courts of the Navajo Nation and the Ft. McDowell Yavapai Nation, and is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
