Mr. Rosenberg was born on December 10, 1962 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Rosenberg graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 1984 and earned his law degree (with honors) from The University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
Mr. Rosenberg has expertise in handling a wide range of legal and business issues. He began his career in 1984 as an accountant at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in his hometown of Atlanta. He later moved to Arthur Andersen & Co. in Austin, Texas, as a senior staff auditor where he earned his C.P.A. license. Upon graduation from law school, he joined and later became a partner in the law firm of Sheinfeld, Maley & Kay in Houston, Texas. In 1998 he became the general counsel to Hearthstone Assisted Living. He left the Hearthstone in 2008 to become the general counsel of U.S. Zinc Corporation.
Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He previously served as vice chair for the State Bar of Texas' Real Estate Forms Committee.
Within his community, he was on the board of directors for West University Little League where he ran their Challenger League baseball program for children with special needs for five years. He previously served on the board of directors for Vita-Living, Inc. and currently serves on the board of directors for The Center, each of these organizations provides long-term care and support services for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In his spare time, Rosenberg enjoys skiing, running (including 13 marathons) and spending time with his wife of 24 years and three children.
