Lisa M. Bowman is an associate at Schneider Wallace.  Before joining the firm, she clerked for the Hon. Peter Busch in the Law & Motion Dept. at the San Francisco Superior Court. While in law school, she externed for the Hon. Paul Haerle in the California Court of Appeals. She also earned three Witkin (formerly AmJur) awards for top grade in her class and worked at the CPUC and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an organization promoting free speech and civil rights in the digital world.

 

Before attending law school, Lisa spent nearly a decade as a journalist, reporting for news outlets including CNET News, The Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg, and KQED Public Radio. Her articles on technology law and policy also have appeared in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.

 

When not working, Lisa enjoys sailing the San Francisco Bay with her husband and two sons.

 

Lisa has a J.D. from U.C. Hastings, a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University, and an undergraduate degree from Harvard.
