Schneider Wallace Cottrell Brayton Konecky LLP is currently investigating possible illegal labor practices, affecting pharmacists employed by CVS, Sav-On and other retail pharmacy chains in California. If you, or someone you know, have been employed as a pharmacist and were paid on an hourly basis in any CVS, Sav-On or other retail pharmacy chain in California at any time since March 2002 to the present, and have been prevented from leaving the store to take 30-minute meal breaks after working five or more consecutive hours, or from taking 10-minute rest periods after working four or more consecutive hours, then contact us immediately. The law requires that employers provide hourly workers with meal and rest breaks. Additionally, if you are a pharmacist who is paid by the hour and who has been required, or felt pressured, by your supervisors to report fewer hours than you actually worked, then contact us immediately. The law also requires that employees be paid for all the hours they actually work, including overtime wages for overtime hours.
